Biography
Gabby Chaves came through the Road to Indy ladder from Pro Mazda to its top. He finished P2 in the 2012 Pro Mazda Championship before moving up. He then won the 2014 Indy Lights championship in one of the closest title fights ever -- tied on points AND wins with Jack Harvey at 547 points and 4 wins each, winning on a tiebreaker. The Colombian driver went on to IndyCar, winning 2015 Indy 500 Rookie of the Year honors.
