Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026
Racing Passport is operated by Early and Away, LLC. This page discloses our affiliate and commission relationships in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255).
The Short Version
Racing Passport may earn a commission when you buy something through a link on this site. That does not change what we recommend. We only link to things Robert actually uses, has read, or would recommend to a friend regardless of whether a commission exists.
What This Covers
Book Recommendations
Racing Passport's reading lists are books Robert recommends because he has read them and believes they are worth your time. Links to purchase those books may be affiliate links. If you buy a book through one of those links, Racing Passport may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. The commission does not affect which books make the list.
Travel Arrangements
When Racing Passport arranges hotels, event tickets, or other travel logistics as part of a curated experience or access package, Racing Passport may receive industry-standard commissions from suppliers. These arrangements are disclosed to clients in their trip documentation. Commissions are factored into the way Racing Passport's services are priced and structured.
Other Links
From time to time, Racing Passport may include links to products, gear, or services that Robert uses or recommends. Where those links include an affiliate tracking code, Racing Passport may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. These will be identified where practical.
What This Does Not Cover
Editorial coverage of racing events, drivers, teams, and series is not affiliate content. Racing Passport does not accept payment for editorial coverage. Robert writes about the sport because he cares about it. Sponsorships, if any are ever accepted, will be clearly identified as such.
Paddock Access and Industry Relationships
Robert has developed relationships in the IndyCar paddock and motorsport industry over 25 years. These relationships sometimes result in complimentary access to events, hospitality, or experiences. Where such access is material to a content piece, it will be disclosed in that content.
FTC Statement
This disclosure satisfies the requirements of the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on the use of endorsements and testimonials in advertising. The FTC requires disclosure whenever there is a "material connection" between an endorser and the product or service being endorsed. We take that requirement seriously and disclose accordingly.
