Disclosure
Last updated: May 2026
Racing Passport is operated by Early and Away, LLC dba Racing Passport. This page discloses material relationships, compensation arrangements, and other information relevant to the editorial content and commercial activities of this site.
Editorial Independence
Racing Passport is an independent media brand. Robert Earl's editorial opinions, coverage decisions, and written content reflect his own perspective and are not directed or approved by any racing series, team, sponsor, driver, or commercial partner.
Robert has personal relationships with people throughout the IndyCar paddock and broader motorsport industry. These relationships provide access that informs his coverage. They do not obligate positive editorial positions. No team, driver, or series representative reviews Racing Passport content before publication or has editorial approval over any content on this site.
When Racing Passport receives press credentials, hospitality access, or complimentary access to an event for coverage purposes, that will be disclosed in the relevant content where material to the reader's understanding.
Travel Agent Disclosure
When Racing Passport sells or arranges travel experiences, those services are offered through Early and Away, LLC. Travel services may be provided in affiliation with or through a licensed travel agency. Specific disclosures regarding seller of travel registration, licensing, and bonding will be included in the written terms provided to each client before any trip purchase is completed.
No trip is sold or contracted through this website. All trip inquiries are handled through direct communication with Robert Earl before any commercial terms are presented or agreed to.
Important: Trip pricing, itinerary details, and experience terms are not finalized on this site. Nothing on racingpassport.com constitutes a binding offer or contract for travel services. Written client agreements govern all trip transactions.
Affiliate Relationships and Commissions
Racing Passport may earn compensation when you purchase products or book services through links on this site. This includes:
- Book recommendations — Reading lists recommended by Robert may include links to purchase those books. Racing Passport may receive a small commission on qualifying purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you.
- Travel commissions — When Racing Passport arranges travel logistics (hotels, tickets, credentials) for clients, it may receive industry-standard commissions from suppliers. These commissions are factored into pricing and disclosed in trip documentation.
Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial recommendations. Robert recommends books because he believes they are worth reading. He recommends hotels because he has evaluated them for the specific event. Compensation does not change that judgment.
For a standalone summary of affiliate relationships and FTC compliance, see the Affiliate Disclosure page.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), Racing Passport discloses material connections between the site and any products, services, or entities reviewed or recommended.
Robert has attended every Indianapolis 500 since 2000 and has developed relationships with teams, drivers, and series personnel over that time. These relationships are disclosed as part of the Racing Passport brand story. Where a specific content piece involves a product, service, or entity with which there is a compensated relationship, that will be disclosed within the content.
