Inquire Now →Banked corners through North Sea dunes.
Zandvoort returned to Formula 1 in 2021 after a 36-year absence. The redesigned circuit kept the dune topography and added two banked corners: the Hugenholtzbocht at Turn 3 and the Arie Luyendyk Bocht final corner. The banking creates the kind of multi-line racing the modern calendar mostly lost.
The Orange Army shows up in numbers nowhere else on the calendar matches. Max Verstappen's home race turns the dunes into a sea of color. The energy starts Friday morning and never lets up.
Amsterdam is the base.
Zandvoort sits 30 kilometers west of Amsterdam. The city is one of the most rewarding bases on the F1 calendar: canals, world-class museums, the Anne Frank House, exceptional dining, and a working old town. Featured property: Conservatorium Hotel or Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam.
The race weekend runs August 21–23, 2026. The package includes four nights in Amsterdam. Easy to extend with stays in Bruges, Brussels, or onward to Paris.

Questions about the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix.
Why should I go to the Dutch Grand Prix?
Zandvoort is a beachside circuit with banked corners that produce some of the most distinctive racing on the F1 calendar. The Orange Army turns Max Verstappen's home race into a national event. The track sits inside the dunes north of Amsterdam, which means the city itself is a 30-minute base for the weekend.
How many days should I plan for the Dutch Grand Prix?
Plan four nights. Arrive Thursday August 20. Friday is practice, Saturday is qualifying, Sunday is race day. Depart Monday August 24 or extend to enjoy Amsterdam. The full F1 weekend rhythm is the right way to experience this race.
When should I book my 2026 Dutch Grand Prix trip?
Six to nine months ahead is the right window for premium hotels and hospitality in Amsterdam. Race-week hotel inventory tightens fast for Zandvoort given the city's limited luxury room count. Start the conversation early to secure your hotel preference.
What is the weather like at Zandvoort in August?
Late August in the Netherlands is mild with daytime highs around 20 to 23 Celsius. North Sea coastal weather can bring wind and the occasional shower. Plan for layers and waterproof outerwear at the circuit.
What does premium hospitality include at the Dutch Grand Prix?
Premium options at Zandvoort range from grandstand seats with strong sightlines to Paddock Club, which includes pit lane walk, gourmet dining, open bar, grid access where offered, and suite viewing across the weekend. Racing Passport matches the viewing tier to your situation during the consultation.
Can I extend my trip after the Dutch Grand Prix?
Amsterdam pairs naturally with extensions to Bruges, Brussels, the Dutch countryside, or onward to Paris. Many guests add two to four extra nights either before the race weekend or after. Racing Passport plans the extension as part of the same trip.
Why book my Dutch Grand Prix trip with Racing Passport?
Robert and his team plan every detail personally. There is no automated booking platform and no agent rotation. The inquiry goes to Robert. He responds personally. The trip is built around your situation, not slotted into a fixed package.
How does the inquiry process work?
Fill out the two-minute inquiry form. Robert responds personally within a day or two. From there, the consultation covers hotel preference, viewing tier, group size, extensions, and budget range. The package is built after the conversation, not before.
